Chapter 3 content creation begun!

We at Gears for Breakfast have just opened up our Trainwreck of Science month! We’re working on creating act 1 & 2 of Chapter 3, which features the Science Express, a deluxe train run by the Science Owls! But as you would expect, nothing remains peaceful for long…!

The entire chapter will feature a lot of bird characters, and the music will all be very Jazz inspired! Oh, and did we mention that the Science Express eventually travels to the Moon? Wah!!

No, it got 0.2 times cooler!

That would make it less cooler….
I think you’re referring to 20% cooler(No, I’m not a Brony but my best friend is). Which if you understood how to multiply decimals you’d know that it would be 1.2 times cooler.
And if you were going to say it’s 20% percent plus the original value you should have stated that….
Wow. I hate math… how did I remember that?
Either way I’m sorry for annoying you but I’m half asleep and that annoyed me…

At least the same size as the triple-decker train in Stacking.

Wow, this is sounding really great!

Keep up with the updates, guys. You are doing an A+ job on keeping your backers informed and I am loving it. No other projects I have backed have maintained such a level of transparency.

    Super excited for this game.

The aesthetics of this game is slowly tapping into my inner six-year old. I didn’t even know this is what I was in for when I backed the game. So excited!

A level that takes place completely on a train. That sounds like the perfect setting for a mystery like Agatha Christie’s ‘Murder on the Orient Express’. Also, is there a Sherlock Holmes type hat for Hat Kid yet?

When we thought this game couldn’t get better and more epic, then it comes a train with birds and jazz.

I’m really hoping to see a lot of smarty pants jokes on this train, as well as some simple scientific theories being put here and there. I think it might be an excellent level to show the kids who play how cool science can be.

I’ve never really played collect-a-thons before but the whole concept is fun. I just can’t wait to experience something new with this game. I’m glad that you enjoy telling us about how it’s coming along!

So THAT’S why the Mafia guys mentioned owls in labcoats on TV! Too bad they didn’t mention the delicious, delicious JAZZ surrounding said owl.

Science owls is pretty awesome too =)

May I suggest an owl with a 360 degree rotating head? It would be a a nice gesture.

While I’m loving the imagination, I think the decision to make the entire chapter’s music jazz inspired seems somewhat awkward in the grand scheme of things. While jazz is my favorite music genre, it would be better to add more variety by swinging toward a more techno-wubstep-X-Naut Fortress kind of sound for this specific chapter. Just something to think about, keep up the hard work fellas.

Make sure there is an owl character, that says this:

    “Did you get that?

In Ocarina of Time, there is an owl. He is one of the most annoying characters ever. He, at the end of every one of his monologues, will say (something to the effect of):

        Did you get that?

Do you want me to repeat that?

And Nintendo conveniently put the one that has him repeat it as the default, so when you’re button mashing to get through his monologue, you end up having him tell you twice.

Please, please, PLEASE add a kazooie reference for the birds! It will make the game just that much more special, and you’ll make all the Banjo-Kazooie fans smile!
